Sourced from our travels to far off India and made by traditional
craftsmen (and ladies) the same way for generations, these are as real
as you are going to get.
In a voyage that later inspired Columbus, Vasco da Gama, the commander of the first ship to travel a quater of the way around the globe to India sailed his caravelle along the African coast, and then across the Indian ocean to Goa. There he set up a trading post to bring back the marvellous products of the Indies
. . . 500 years passed . . .
After years of searching for just the right quality and authenticity the beautiful, rugged pirate wear that we bring to you was brought to us an the same small town that da Gama's original trading post was set up. When we saw them we wonder if the designs have changed at all over the intervening five centuries!
